Richard has had a long involvement in theatre in New Zealand. As a trained dancer and experienced actor and theatrical designer Richard understands the creative theatrical process and the need for venues to meet the needs of performers. |

Richard has worked as a floor manager for Prime television and was a secondary school HOD Dance and Drama. Arts administration and advocacy has been a key part of Richard's professional life in recent years. Richard is passionate about fostering growth in the arts as well as engaging sound business principles to deliver a venue that is both responsible and an asset to the Waitaki District. Richard is a member of the Venue Managers Association (Asia Pacific) |

| Administrator - Viv Gamble
Viv is a very experienced Administrator. Having worked for over 12 years for the Waitaki District Council in various roles Viv understands the local government process and is a contracts expert. Viv is customer service focused and committed to making your visit to The Oamaru Opera House a great experience with all the details attended to so you can enjoy your event with peace of mind. |

| Technical Manager- Gregg Lovatt
Gregg's enthusiasm for theatrical arts started back in High School. Since that time, Gregg has been involved in almost all aspects of theatrical production. After 7 years as Senior Mechanist at the Christchurch Town Hall and Convention Centre, Gregg spent 4 years as Deputy Master Carpenter at a theatre in London's West-End. Upon returning to Christchurch in 2006, Gregg worked for 3 years in an associated theatrical industry, on a technical level. As Technical Manager for The Oamaru Opera House, Gregg enjoys the buzz of putting a show "on the boards" as well as the challenges of getting what is essentially a brand new theatre up to speed as a modern professional theatrical venue. |

| Sales & Marketing - Stu Dalton
Stu's involvement with The Oamaru Opera House has spanned over 25 years. Over the years Stu has been involved with The Operatic and Repertory Societies in Oamaru, Timaru and Taupo. After leaving school Stu trained at The Otago Institute of Television, Theatre and Radio. Stu then worked for seven years in Radio all over New Zealand. During this time Stu was involved in all Marketing aspects of Community Promotions and Events. Stu has also over the last five years been working for an events company and travels to conference and event centres in Australia and New Zealand every year. Stu is actively engaging with local, national and international networks promoting the economic and tourism opportunities of The Opera House as an arts and functions facility . |

| Events Technician- Dave Devon
Dave is a Registered Electrician, Radio Technician who operates his own contracting company specializing in A.V, Sound, Communications and Satellite TV systems. Dave has been involved in lighting and sound for many theatre productions and has also worked in TV and Film. Dave has been involved in rigging and lighting for Oamaru Operatic, Southern Opera, Andrew Newton, Kevin Bloody Wilson, John Rowles and crewed the New Zealand and Russian Ballets. Dave has also worked on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and also Rugby World Cup for both Sky TV and Channel Seven Australia. Dave is familiar with all the technical aspects of The Oamaru Opera House having operated lighting, sound and flying rigs for touring shows since the venue was refurbished. |

| Barista- Carla Arlidge
Carla has worked in the hospitality trade for over 16 years. She is a qualified barista and knows her coffees. Carla enjoys interacting with visitors and making sure every coffee is a great coffee. |

Encore Staff -
The Encore Staff are the volunteer staff at the Oamaru Opera House, coming from all walks of life our volunteers form an integral and vibrant part of the opera house. From the box office, front of house, and admin support through to event management and fundraising the Encore Staff positions vary in time commitment but all enjoy a healthy and social work environment. |
